We Are We Wear - Global Brand Strategy

This brand book was created as part of an MSc brief;  We were asked to create an iconic brand; meaning - a timeless, quintessential expression of an idea when a brand becomes inseparable from a culture communities capacity to express an idea. The brand was inspired by materialism and its effect on society, I decided to create a brand that would suite growing consumer needs past the COVID-19 pandemic. Consumers now want ease and longevity in their products and are focussing heavily on their homes. Gucci’s overall impact towards a circular economy.

Objects - Brand Development

Gucci Per la Vita - Concept Development

This was created as part of an MSc brief;  I was instructed to identify problems and opportunities within an area of an existing brand’s concept to consumer process and use this to develop a future fashion activity surrounding sustainability and the circular economy. I developed a restoration service for Gucci’ Footwear ranges; from a brand point of view it was deemed most efficient to trial this type of service via one of its product categories. This proposal fully outlines the business model for the service, named ‘Gucci Per la Vita’ (Gucci for life), detailing its benefits in comparison to competitor brands and third party services all in consideration of Gucci’s overall impact towards a circular economy.

VEE. Studio - Brand Guidelines

The full brand guidelines for VEE. Studio can be seen here; I developed both the background identity and visuals for the brand's newest launch 'The mindfulness Range' focussing on how the aesthetic influences positivity on the viewer. A social media strategy was also developed focussed around creating a strong, personal brand to consumer relationship.

VEE. Studio is a brand I have been developing as part of my education and personal progression. The brand will sell handmade tote bags meant to influence a positive change on mental health. Using the concept of mood enhancement dress, the brand's identity and its products focus around the colour white and uplifting affirmations to help consumers have a more positive outlook on life.

This promotional video was a collaboration between VEE. Studio and Banana Beam Film. The video was intended as a promotional teaser for the launch of the VEE. Studio Mindfulness Range. The film was set to a piece of music that was developed by psychologists to influence the listener into a state of calm and rest. The TikTok was posted to the VEE. Studio Official account again as a small teaser clip to reach a wider audience.

I designed this app as part of my second year Undergrad coursework. The app is a space for like minded young fashion professionals to share experiences and insights into the fashion industry, creating a community in which young professionals can encourage and uplift each other in their journey into a career.

HOW'S THINGS?

This was my first taste of freelance work as a working professional - I designed the social media content for a start up men's mental health organisation called 'HOW'S THINGS?'. The organisation was set up to help the fight against the stigmatisation of male mental health issues. The work I created can be seen below; I have created all visuals for the brand up until this point.

Northern Soul

This Movie was created as a conceptual marketing film to support an exhibition I created based around the Northern Soul movement. The film was meant to represent the feelings Northern Soul dance brought to people and the sense of friendship the movement create. Euphoria. Freedom. Awakening.
